Vail
is known around the world as one of the most glamorous ski areas,
but there is more to it - summers are wonderful here at 8,120
ft. We have breezy warm days in the 80's and cool refreshing nights
where you will need a sweater. The mountains has the gondola running
all summer to get you up to the top to hike or bike around and
down, the easy way. Be sure to visit the neighboring towns. Beaver
Creek, where you will find the feeling of being in an elegant
European ski village. Avon where there are some fun shops. In
Edwards there is a wonderful kitchen shop and some interesting
little shops.
